New coverall from AUBERGE for the 26AW season. This piece is made from a slightly thicker version of early 20th-century French military herringbone, yarn-dyed with a special dye that fades easily to enhance the product processing. This fabric uses the traditional French style where the reverse side features a different weave structure.
While it takes inspiration from French moleskin coveralls, it features washable leather on the collar and cuffs, finished with a hard wash treatment. The addition of linen provides a unique texture while evoking a vintage French aesthetic. The realistic used-look processing adds further character.
AUBERGE is named after the 18th-century French inns that offered both fine dining and lodging. Their style is based on 1930s-1940s vintage, creating items that feel comfortable—neither too old nor too new. They express luxury through carefully selected textiles and meticulous sewing, prioritizing a handmade feel.
