WORKERS Bal Collar Coat Ichinomiya Tweed 2611-BCCOAT-IT

The WORKERS Bal Collar Coat has a length of just over 90 cm. It is balanced to be neither too long nor too short, making it easy to handle when getting in and out of a car.

The pockets are standard pockets rather than pass-through pockets. While pass-through pockets are convenient for reaching pants pockets, they can lead to items falling out and require more complex construction. By using standard pockets, we have kept the price as low as possible.

This coat is designed for various winter layering options, fitting well over jackets, thick sweaters, denim jackets, or hoodies.

The fabric is 8.5-ounce Ichinomiya Tweed, a domestic tweed produced in the area between Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, and Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture. It uses 100% virgin wool, not recycled wool.

We used this fabric for jackets last year and adopted it for this coat because its weight is neither too thick nor too thin. It has a high weave density, providing wind resistance while remaining comfortable to wear. Since coats require a large amount of fabric, heavy materials can be difficult to wear. This 8.5-ounce weight offers an excellent balance between the look and feel of a coat. You can enjoy the unique texture of domestic tweed at a lower price point compared to imported tweed.
