ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN was established in 2009 by Cathrine Andersen, who wanted to pass down traditional Danish knit culture, and art director Peter Kjaer-Andersen. Based on traditional designs worn for generations by sailors, fishermen, and hunters in Denmark, the brand specializes exclusively in durable sailor sweaters passed down through generations. Tracing the history of traditional Danish knitwear, they gathered only the finest details and added modern elements to create the world's best sailor sweaters.

This short-type knit cap uses natural color wool from ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN. It features yarn utilizing the natural, un-dyed colors of Merino wool originating from Portugal. The wool is sheared from sheep, and only washed and spun at an Italian spinning mill without any dyeing processes. With long staple fibers, this material also boasts exceptional durability.

This piece adapts ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN's signature heavy-weight knit into a knit cap. The main body is knit in a 6-ply half-cardigan stitch, while the opening is knit in an 8-ply rib stitch. Styled as a short beanie, a current trend, it is designed to be worn above the ears with a shallow fit. The snug fit unique to cardigan stitching ensures reliable warmth even in extreme cold.
