ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN was founded in 2009 by Cathrine Andersen and art director Peter Kjaer Andersen with a desire to preserve traditional Danish knitwear culture. Specializing exclusively in durable sailor sweaters handed down through generations, the brand is based on traditional designs worn by sailors, fishermen, and hunters in Denmark.

This beanie cap uses the brand's signature half-cardigan stitch knit. Crafted in Italy from South American merino wool, it is densely and heavily knitted using original yarns. Inspired by traditional sailor wear, the half-cardigan stitch uses fine merino wool yet maintains a heavy, substantial finish.

The main body is knitted with 6-ply yarn, while the opening uses 8-ply yarn. Styled as a modern short beanie designed to be worn above the ears, the knit structure provides a secure fit and reliable warmth even in extreme cold.
