Crafted using classic and advanced production methods, rather than the simple construction of joining separately knitted parts on the reverse side, it is knitted all at once by changing the knitting method and direction, an uncompromising process that ignores production costs. The fabric uses high-quality merino wool from Italian spinning, heavily and loosely knitted at 5-gauge, creating a heavy yet remarkably elegant texture. The garment is solidly heavy, with a total weight of over 1.0kg, making it quite a heavy-weight piece. Despite its delicate craftsmanship, its traditional, rugged, and masculine perfection is truly attractive.

Additionally, since the front and back designs are identical, it can be worn without needing to distinguish between the front and back. This design was made so that busy sailors could put it on quickly, similar to old navy sweaters and others. Its roots likely trace back to the Guernsey sweater, which is said to be the prototype of various fisherman sweaters.
