New after hoodie from Slopeslow. This piece uses Slopeslow's original 100% wool French terry fabric, which has been a staple since the 23AW season. Both the surface and the loop side are knitted with the thickest possible woolen yarn, resulting in a dense fabric weighing over 1kg per meter. The middle yarn connecting the front and back is made of worsted wool, creating a 100% wool construction. Because it is so densely knitted, it blocks the wind and features the natural water-repellent properties of woolen wool, allowing it to shed light snow and rain. Most importantly, it is highly resistant to wrinkles over long periods of wear and maintains a structured, melton-like silhouette.
The fabric is a washable 100% wool French terry that has been tightly knitted. The new grey brown color is a grayish brown top color that looks like a deeper version of taupe, offering a nuanced shade that is neither strictly grey nor brown. The garment is washed to facilitate daily care, and its dense construction ensures minimal dimensional change. The collar, hem, cuffs, waist ribbing, and gussets under the arms use matching knitted ribbing.
The design is inspired by the vintage 'after hoodie,' a highly sought-after item in the vintage market. It features slash pockets instead of a kangaroo pocket for a more modern look. It is a well-balanced hoodie that coexists with a vintage atmosphere and a clean, modern aesthetic. The hood drawstring is long enough to be tied, but can be cut if preferred.
