Super 120’s Shadow Herringbone
This fabric uses Super 120’s wool, reinterpreting the classic herringbone with a modern aesthetic. By combining the traditional herringbone pattern with a flannel weave and a light brushing process, the outlines of the pattern are intentionally softened, creating a delicate, shadow-like appearance. The use of yarn-dyed heather threads with varying shades adds depth, preventing a monotonous look. While it appears solid from a distance, the herringbone pattern emerges depending on the light and angle.

It features a moderate weight and the smooth touch characteristic of Super 120’s wool, creating a light and beautiful drape. It is an elegant wool material suitable for a long season. The color palette includes Charcoal and a new color composed of navy, dark navy, and black tones, resulting in a quieter, more dimensional Shadow Herringbone.

This is the signature shirt of the nonnotte Draping series, designed to showcase form through three-dimensional cutting. Inspired by early 1900s women’s couture, which focused on giving structure to the garment itself rather than tracing the body’s lines, it has been reconstructed as a modern men’s shirt.

With dropped shoulders, a shoulder line designed to wrap from the back, and complex armhole cutting, it forms a cocoon-like, egg-shaped silhouette. When the arms are down, it creates directional drapes and three-dimensional shadows. The side seams are positioned slightly forward, and the oversized volume is folded in, creating different expressions from the front, side, and back. It is a silhouette unique to three-dimensional cutting that allows you to enjoy changes in form from 360 degrees.

Combining an open collar with a round hem, it creates a natural flow from the neck to the hem. This season, it is crafted from nonnotte’s signature material, which provides a structural look where the fabric stands as a plane rather than just falling softly, thanks to the tension and resilience of the high-density weave.
