This is a nonnotte original heavy broadcloth, woven at high density using 35-count single yarn made from organic extra-long staple cotton. It combines the solid texture of thick yarn with a beautiful luster created by the ultra-high-density weave, balancing the elegance of a dress shirt with the toughness required for daily wear. The uneven wrinkles characteristic of thick yarn are a key feature, creating a supple yet rugged expression that differs from fine-count shirt fabrics. This is the standard shirt in the nonnotte Draping series, designed to be enjoyed for its form created through three-dimensional cutting. Inspired by early 1900s women's couture, which focused on giving structure to the garment itself rather than tracing the lines of the body, it has been reconstructed as a modern men's shirt. With dropped shoulders, shoulder lines designed to wrap around from the back, and complex armhole cutting, it forms a cocoon-like, egg-shaped silhouette. When the arms are down, it creates directional drapes and three-dimensional shadows. By placing the side seams slightly forward and folding in the oversized volume, it produces different expressions from the front, side, and back. It is a silhouette unique to three-dimensional cutting that allows you to enjoy the changing form from 360 degrees.
