orSlow 40s PLEATED FRONT BLOUSE VINTAGE WASH 03-6011-84

orSlow faithfully reproduces the single-pocket Type 1 denim jacket produced from 1936 to 1953. It thoroughly replicates iconic details including front action pleats, square stitching, a single flap pocket on the left chest (a detail omitted during WWII), and a cinch back on the lower back.

Notably, it features the "T-back" detail found exclusively in size L (3) and LL (4). When producing larger sizes, the width of the denim fabric woven on looms of the era was insufficient, forcing them to join two pieces of fabric down the center. Characterized by a vertical stitch running down the back, it is called a "T-back" due to its appearance. Because it was only used for larger sizes, it remains immensely popular today as a rare detail that creates hardcore collectors.

The fabric is orSlow's original 13.5oz selvedge denim. It faithfully recreates the period-authentic yarn irregularity, thread density, fabric thickness, and rigidity. The exceptional craftsmanship is evident when looking at the vintage-wash denim. This distressed model offers a different atmosphere from one-wash and is quintessential orSlow.
