Hello.
This is Nishiyama from andPheb.
The final delivery of items ordered for 26AW from "Aquellos Ojos Verdes BISHU" has arrived, so I would like to introduce them.
While this brand is strongly associated with shirts, what I personally love about them are their pullover tops.
They hit that exquisite balance—not quite a shirt, not quite a sweatshirt, and not quite a sweater—which I find stylish and wonderful.
So, of course, I ordered them this season as well.
It is a classic Henry neck that returns to the prototype of woven shirts from before the birth of the T-shirt.

-26AW COLLECTION
"Because it’s there.” — Why do people head toward what is there?
This collection is based on the words of the British mountaineer George Mallory.
In the 1920s-40s, British alpine and sports styles existed alongside natural materials like wool and silk.
We also looked at the Kashmir region, which continues to hold tension and history, and layered ethnic elements from around India.
Recently, I have come to feel a strong sense of awe for nature, and the destination I reached was "mountaineering."
Why do people dare to keep challenging themselves?
This collection was developed while holding such questions.

As expected, the fabric is special this time too.
It comes in two colors, but strictly speaking, it is one type of fabric.
It is a voluminous piece finished with a leno weave, using threads of different thicknesses and colors for the warp and weft.
The Raw_White side has a relatively even weave and a clean impression.
The Melange_Brown side has a rough, rugged impression with thick wool yarns.
Even though the shape is the same, each has a completely different atmosphere.
*It is not reversible.
The size is also relaxed.
It is an item I want you to wear roughly like a sweatshirt.

Leno Weaves Classic Henry Neck Shirt

A new Henry neck shirt for 26AW from Aquellos Ojos Verdes BISHU.
In search of a lightweight and warm material, we arrived at leno weave. We used fine-count white yarn for the vertical and horizontal base, and placed heathered yarn, made by twisting two colors of thick brown wool TOP, as the weft. By applying a wet tumbler finish, random irregularities similar to the grain of leather are created, giving the material a rich texture. A feature of this fabric is that it shows different textures on the front and back, and since both looks were attractive, we intentionally designed it to be reversible.
Furthermore, by washing the finished product for softness, we achieved a texture that feels as soft and voluminous as knitwear, despite being a woven fabric.
What kind of shirts were worn inside hunting jackets? Inspired by this question, we traced and reconstructed 19th-century work shirts. Wax Cotton fabric is placed on the neckline and cuffs for the purpose of stain prevention and reinforcement, and product washing brings out natural stretching and a knit-like texture. It is a piece that returns to the prototype of woven shirts from before the birth of the Henry neck T-shirt.

With details like Wax Cotton fabric applied to the neckline and cuffs, it is a Henry neck that is typical of Aquellos Ojos Verdes, made with attention to every detail.
I think it is a piece that allows you to enjoy a different style from the typical American casual thermal Henry neck!
Please come and see it in the store.
We look forward to your visit and trying it on.
See you.
