Hello.
This is Nukui from andPheb.
This season, andPheb is focusing heavily on "slacks."
It is rare for andPheb, where denim, military pants, and chinos make up the majority, to increase our selection of slacks.
Today, I would like to introduce a model among them that I am personally paying close attention to.

INTERIM
“1-TUCK WIDE TAPERED MILITARY TROUSERS”
The base is a masterpiece of French military trousers from the 1950s.
While retaining the elements of military gear, INTERIM has added their own arrangement to create a pair with a balance that is easy to wear today.
It features a 1-tuck design with moderate volume around the rise and hips, tapering naturally toward the hem. While it has a wide feel, it is finished with a balance that drapes beautifully.
The details are also quite characteristic, full of military taste, such as the inverted trapezoidal belt loops inspired by military trousers and back pockets with loops.
Also, this season, we have placed original leather piping on the top edge of the belt and the pocket welts.
It is a luxurious specification also seen in the slacks of a certain H brand.
The exquisite balance between military and dress is typical of INTERIM and is addictive.

This time, the silhouette is the same, but it is available in two types of fabric.
One is Katsuragi fabric dyed with natural dyes.
The other is wool fabric, which is attractive for its dry texture.
Furthermore, each comes in two colors, so you can choose from a total of four types.
Please find your favorite pair.

KAKISHIBU / Wearing size 4
Katsuragi fabric dyed with persimmon tannin (Kakishibu).
It uses Katsuragi fabric made of organic cotton twisted yarn, dyed with natural dyes.
Kakishibu is a natural dye that has been used in Japan since ancient times, made by fermenting the juice of unripe persimmons.
The natural unevenness and non-uniform expression are its charm.
The impression when worn is surprisingly not too rough and quite elegant.
Combined with the leather piping specification, it has a luxurious atmosphere.
The fabric is also soft and easy to wear from the start.
This time, I have kept it simple by pairing it with a BATONER cashmere sweater.

The length is set long, so we recommend adjusting the length to your preference.
*In the photos, it is folded inward and adjusted for wearing.

SUMI / Wearing size 4
The other Katsuragi fabric color is Sumi (charcoal) dye.
It is a natural dyeing process using charcoal as a dye, characterized by a unique faded color.
It is a charcoal color with a bit of depth, different from simple black or gray.
This one also seems like it will gain more character as you wear it.
Charcoal goes well with olive.
It is an exquisite color that looks urban while retaining a military atmosphere.
Corozo buttons are used for both colors.
The reddish buttons serve as a subtle accent.

DRY WOOL “OMI-ZARASHI” WITH LEATHER PIPING
1-TUCK WIDE TAPERED MILITARY TROUSERS
(IT26A079)
¥41,800 including tax
BLACK / Wearing size 4
Next is the wool fabric.
Black wool slacks are a staple item that is very convenient to have one pair of.
That is exactly why I want to choose a pair that is particular about fabric and silhouette.
This model uses a wool twill fabric with a rough atmosphere like British wool.
It uses materials with firmness and resilience, and the finish is treated with Japan's unique Omi-zarashi process.
The Omi-zarashi process creates a moderate wrinkled feel and soft texture, giving it a slightly casual look despite being wool.
While it is a beautiful pair of slacks, its charm lies in the fact that it feels rough without being too stiff.

Also, the wool fabric is lined up to below the knee, so the skin irritation peculiar to wool is reduced.
It's a place you can't see, but it's a very welcome specification...

NAVY / Wearing size 4
The last one is navy.
It is softer than black and has a very elegant impression.
This also goes well with the Corozo buttons and looks great.
For such slacks, I personally recommend combining them with a sweatshirt.
By pairing slacks with a sweatshirt, you can create a balance of roughness and elegance.
This time, I paired it with TARVAS sneakers to make it a bit more casual.
If you wear leather shoes, it looks cleaner; if you wear sneakers, it's for daily use.
It is a pair with a wide range of styling options.

Perhaps because there are many rugged outerwears this season, such as denim jackets and coveralls,
I feel like I will be balancing them out with slacks more often.
Also, for those who think slacks might be delicate or difficult to care for,
we have two fabrics that are surely easy to wear,
so I would like those who have been resistant to slacks to try them out.
Please try them on at the store.
We look forward to your visit and trying them on this week as well.
See you soon.
