We are introducing the Ortega Cross Jacket made with undyed mohair and alpaca.
The mohair version, in particular, is a limited edition with a restricted quantity.

[AUBERGE]
Auberge refers to an inn originating in 18th-century France, where one can enjoy fine dining and stay overnight. It represents a way of enjoying a vacation favored by the French, accompanied by beautiful scenery, seasonal mountain and sea ingredients, and local game.
The proposed style is based on vintage pieces from the 1930s and 1940s. The items created from this base are everyday yet comfortable, neither too old nor too new.
They express the 'luxury' envisioned through ingredients (textiles) born from ideas and experience, prepared and cooked (sewn) with painstaking effort.
Clothing is something created by human hands, and they value that handmade atmosphere above all else.

Champagne Gold Mohair Ortega Cross Short Jacket “TUCSON”

A new short jacket from AUBERGE.
It uses rare, naturally colored champagne gold undyed mohair from South Africa, uniquely spun. Because it is a natural color derived from the raw wool, there are differences in shade and individual variations per lot, characterized by natural color fluctuations that cannot be achieved through dyeing. The fineness is 34/36μ, providing a unique texture with the firmness and strong resilience characteristic of thick yarns.
Targeting the native rugs used for Chimayo vests, the warp uses undyed thick linen yarn. The weft uses a 6-ply yarn of the aforementioned mohair. By sandwiching wool yarn (also undyed) between these yarns, physical stability and density are increased. Although the actual weight is quite heavy, the unique texture and firmness make it feel lighter than it is, resulting in an indescribable, unique quality.
The shape is finished as an Ortega-feel jacket that maintains a contemporary size balance without strictly following the original. The dropped shoulders and the sleeve head that isn't too high are the highlights. Some pockets incorporate UK workwear details.

Black Alpaca Ortega Cross Short Jacket “TUCSON”

It uses alpaca wool raised in the harsh natural environment of the high Andes mountains as raw material. Alpaca has excellent heat retention, natural luster, and a unique slipperiness. This also uses black natural-colored alpaca raw wool spun directly without any dyeing, resulting in natural color shading and depth.
