A new crew neck sweater for 26AW.
Colored wool raised at Taranui Farm in South Canterbury, in the southern part of New Zealand. The raw wool from this farm, which is sincerely committed to environmental and animal welfare, is also sold to certain luxury brands.
It is a material characterized by its sponge-like elasticity, volume, and light, soft texture because it contains air. From white to grayish beige, and brown to dark brown, colored sheep have their own individual colors just like cat or human hair. The undyed raw wool is sorted by color and spun into yarn. This sweater was created by combining seven different colors of undyed colored wool yarn.
The brown heather part on the front is a twisted yarn of seven colors. Since it reached the machine's limit for yarn count, it has a very firm and thick texture.
We named it "Seven-colored wool" with the hope that it would leave an impression, with nuances like "Seven Dwarfs" or "The Magnificent Seven."
This is the crew neck model. Utilizing the seven undyed colors, we created three types of yarn by combining the heather. We then created a graphical pattern using intarsia switching. Changing the yarn count, material, and gauge results in a different look. Wearing seven colors of sheep, the heat retention is also excellent.

A new crew neck sweater for 26AW.
A sweater that combines colored wool raised at Taranui Farm in South Canterbury, New Zealand, with natural color (undyed) yak wool.
From deep brown to natural white, the yarn is switched to create a natural gradation. There are so many switches that it reached the limit of what the knitting machine could handle, making the final adjustments a difficult specification. However, it has been beautifully finished at an excellent knitting factory that boasts some of the best technology in Japan.
It is designed to feel more complex and deep by changing not only the color but also the pattern.
Just like humans, sheep have their own personalities,
and this sweater was created by bringing that out just as it is.
From the profound feeling of being wrapped up, I feel like I can somehow feel close to the sheep (lol).
It has a chewy, superb texture that feels almost no prickliness at all.
Once the season is in full swing, it will surely be gone. That is the level it is at.
