TENDER Co. has now moved its base to the United States.
However, TENDER has consistently maintained its production background in the UK.
This season, the denim is still produced in the UK, firmly inheriting the manufacturing background cultivated over many years.
What I am introducing today is the 'LOT 136', a representative denim of TENDER.
In Japan, andPheb might be the only place that carries the 136.
We always have it specially produced for us.
It is a model I have cherished for many years and love dearly.

The '136' is the widest model in the TENDER lineup.
It is based on the 'OXFORD BAGS' that were popular at Oxford University in the 1920s. At the time, it was an extremely wide silhouette with a hem width of 23 inches (approx. 30cm) so that it could be worn over shorts. TENDER has reconstructed that bold balance in denim.
It is an extremely wide, straight fit without any tapering.
The overwhelming sense of weight is irresistibly cool.
The details are also impeccable. The triple-stitched front pockets, the denim fabric used for the pocket bags, and the coin pocket with its British anecdote background. Everything from the three-dimensional yoke to the belt loops of different lengths is designed with purpose. The hem is designed as a double hem, intended to be worn with two folds. Using 17oz denim, it shrinks after washing. It is not just a simple pair of wide denim, but a piece typical of TENDER that you can enjoy along with its background.
This time, we have prepared the RINSE model, which has been washed.
It is a one-wash model made from 16oz extra-heavy denim that has been washed. It shrinks to about 17oz after washing, and despite being extra-heavy, it is supple and comfortable to wear.
I also purchased mine 5 years ago in size 4 in an un-born/raw denim state, and I have been wearing it 2-3 times a week since around this time of year.
At 17oz, it is extremely thick, and it is still a deep navy color.
Puckering, whiskers, and fading have started to appear little by little.
It used to have a stiff, Gundam-like silhouette, but it has become supple and looks great now.
I thought there would be a big difference since I wear it so much, but it was still quite dark... (laughs)
Let's keep wearing them in.
