The 1st delivery for 26AW has arrived from a brand I personally love very much, [Slopeslow].
Since there were no arrivals in 26SS, it feels like it has been a while, but when it comes to autumn and winter, it has to be Slopeslow sweaters! I have been looking forward to this so much...
Starting with the arrival of two styles.
Both are classic materials for Slopeslow, centered on Shetland wool.
You might wear them a little later, but these are sweaters that make you look forward to the arrival of autumn and winter.

A new half-zip sweater for 26AW.
One of Slopeslow's representative standard products, "Hard twisted Shetland wool". A product that embodies "Utility knitwear" finished as a tough item using hard-twisted Shetland wool, which has been twisted to a crisp, unique touch. This series was newly created using the same yarn as that material.
It uses Shetland wool, which is attractive for its high windproof and cold-protection properties. While taking advantage of those characteristics, it is an original material finished into a tough yarn with a dry touch and firmness by daring to twist the hard Shetland wool even more strongly.
This uses thinner yarn with half the number of strands of the "Hard twisted Shetland wool", and is knitted on a higher gauge automatic machine rather than a hand-flat machine. The rib knitting, which is an arrangement of full-needle fabric to prevent skewing, gives it a different atmosphere from the series using the same material. The silhouette and design are also distinctive.
This is a longer half-zip model. It is a piece that feels present whether worn alone or as an inner layer.

A new crew neck sweater for 26AW.
The Brushed Yak/Shetland wool material has been continued since the first season.
It is a material that combines Shetland wool, which has firmness and elasticity, with yak, which is as soft and gentle on the skin as cashmere. It is carefully shaped and knitted using a hand-flat knitting machine, which is a machine knitting method where the carriage is moved by hand.
Hand-flat knitting machines, which are now rare worldwide, have the advantage of being able to knit things that are difficult for automatic machines, such as yarns that break easily or knitting with a tight gauge, because they can be adjusted by human touch unlike automatic machines. Naturally, since it is manual labor, it takes time and cannot be mass-produced. With labor shortages due to illness or caregiving, it has become a rare background in modern times that prioritizes profit and efficiency. The fabric is knitted with a loose gauge and then shrunk through fulling to bring out the fluffy texture of the material, so it features a lighter wearing comfort than its visual thickness suggests. The design, which combines three types of heather yarns created for each part, is the same as the 25AW season.
This is a crew neck model. The collar is finished with a double-layer attachment to make it plump, so it is a design that looks good even when worn alone without looking shabby.
The roomy size, which looks great even when worn alone, is also a charm.
