NATURAL INDIGO SHUTTLE DENIM SINGLE NEEDLE 213 No2 DENIM JACKET

The "No.2" was produced from 1890 to the early 1940s. Originally manufactured as a budget version, it is now known as a rare treasure due to its scarcity. This piece features specifications from an older era of the "213," a signature of the series, and is tailored primarily with single-needle stitching, which is extremely inefficient in modern mass production. It is a special denim jacket incorporating characteristic details of the era, such as the "213" signature down pockets, a linen patch that distorts with every wash, rare white-selvedge natural indigo denim, and an iron needle-buckle cinch.
This is white-selvedge denim naturally indigo-dyed by a long-established domestic mill. By dyeing it 10 times using only natural indigo, it achieves a deep, dark color that rivals chemical dyes. It is a natural indigo denim fabric that overturns the image that "indigo dye" equals "a somewhat light color." We hope you enjoy the pleasure of growing it into your own real vintage piece by wearing it from a rigid state and creating wrinkles and fades with every wash.
