This piece is inspired by the No.2 series produced from 1890 to the early 1940s. Originally positioned as a budget-friendly line, it has become a rare treasure due to its limited circulation. This version features the specifications of the oldest era of the iconic 213 model, constructed primarily with single-needle stitching, which is extremely inefficient for modern mass production. It includes signature details such as down pockets, a linen patch that distorts with washing, rare white-selvedge natural indigo denim, and an iron needle-punched cinch back.

The fabric is a white-selvedge denim naturally indigo-dyed by a long-established Japanese mill. By dyeing with natural indigo ten times, it achieves a deep, dark color that rivals chemical dyes, challenging the image that natural indigo is always light in color. As you wear it from a rigid state, natural fading and creases will develop with each wash, allowing you to enjoy the process of creating your own real vintage piece.
