WORKERS 26FW has arrived today.
It is a relief to see the WORKERS items, which were looking a bit sparse, gradually filling up again.
They tend to disappear in the blink of an eye, but I know many of you have been waiting, so please take this opportunity.
The July delivery starts with
Band Collar Shirt and Officer Trousers.
Starting with these.
WORKERS
Band Collar Shirt (2607-BCSH)

WORKERS Band Collar Shirt.
The design is based on vintage British military band collar shirts. While the original has a long length exceeding 80cm, WORKERS has adjusted it to approximately 76cm.
It is redesigned as a "Modified" fit with an exquisite length that balances well whether tucked in or left out. The sleeve area has been given extra room in the sleeve width and elbow width. By adding ease not just to the body but also to the sleeves, the range of motion for the arms is increased, reducing tension during movement. It is also designed for easy rolling up of the sleeves.
The front features a rounded design with overlapping details. This is a specification seen in old shirts, and while it has a background of once being used as undergarments, it now serves as an accent that creates a vintage atmosphere.
The material used is a basic approximately 5oz Oxford fabric.
It has a balance that is neither too thin nor too thick, making it wearable throughout the seasons.
The chambray also has a similar approximately 5oz fabric feel, combining lightness with moderate firmness.
It works well as a light layer from spring to autumn, and as an inner layer for knitwear in winter. Especially when paired with a crew-neck sweater, the collar does not interfere, which is a unique charm of the band collar.

Officer Trousers Regular Fit

WORKERS' standard trousers, finished with a modern balance based on military chinos.
This season, it is available in two types: a Regular Fit with a hem width of approximately 21cm, and a model with a hem width of approximately 20cm featuring two tucks at the waist.
This Regular Fit features robust specifications typical of military chinos, finished with double-stitched lap seams on the inseam and side seams. The silhouette is a "very standard" straight, not as slim as the Slim (hem width approx. 18cm) and not as wide as the Vintage (approx. 24cm). It is a pair you can wear for a long time without being swayed by trends. The front is a plain front without tucks, making it the most basic and versatile design. The pocket welts are finished as thin as possible, and the inside of the waistband features classic details with separate parts (※The 2-tuck model has a different waistband specification). While simple at first glance, it is carefully crafted down to the smallest detail.
The material is 100% cotton 8oz chino cloth. The color is a calm green with a grayish tint called "Hunter Green." It reproduces a unique hue different from the OD seen in vintage American-made chinos. It features an exquisite tone that is not too dark and easy to match. The accessories use urea resin buttons, and the sewing uses polyester spun thread. It is finished with stable quality unique to Japanese manufacturing.

Officer Trousers 2 Tack

Another variation of the Officer Trousers available this season is the model with two tucks at the waist.
The hem width is set to approximately 20cm, finished with a silhouette that provides room while still looking neat. Both the side and inseam adopt an interlock specification, balancing lightness with a dressier look.
The sides feature slanted pockets, and right next to them is a coin pocket with a flap. This unique detail is a difficult point in pattern design, and the balance of the flap placement is especially severe in smaller sizes. In contrast, it achieves a beautiful balance through a unique grading method that adjusts the size only on the back body. The waistband is composed of independent parts called "separate bands," and the lining uses pocketing fabric. It is characterized by careful construction closer to trousers than chino pants. Compared to the Regular Fit in the same series, it is a pair that shows that not only the silhouette but the specifications and structure itself are different. Each has a clear personality and charm.
