It is constructed primarily with single-needle stitching, a method considered extremely inefficient in modern mass production.

This special denim jacket incorporates iconic details from various eras, including the signature down-pockets of the 213, a linen patch that distorts with each wash, rare white-selvedge natural indigo denim, and an iron needle-buckle cinch.

The fabric is a white-selvedge denim dyed with natural indigo by a long-established Japanese mill. By dyeing it 10 times using only natural indigo, it achieves a deep, dark color that rivals chemical dyes, challenging the common perception that natural indigo is always light in color.
