The 1000S Wool Racing Blouson is a reconstruction of a modern racing jacket using wool material. The tweed fabric, made from loosely woven woolen yarn and finished with a fulling process, offers a rich texture and depth. The body is lined with quilted padding, providing both lightness and warmth. Despite its substantial appearance, it is light and soft to wear.
It features a boxy silhouette with generous width in the body and shoulders. Details like the A-2 jacket-inspired pockets and leather piping accents add character. This piece retains the sporty details of a racing jacket while achieving the sophisticated look unique to wool. The back neck features the 1000S logo embroidered in the same color.
1000S was launched in 22SS by designer Ayumu Tagami, who spent over a decade in production management for a leading Japanese classic wear brand. With the brand concept of "NEO AME-CAZI," the brand proposes modernized contemporary clothing by adding playful details and the designer's personal roots to classic foundations. It creates high-quality, humorous casual wear for adults who never lose their sense of playfulness.
