NEEDLES was established in 1995 by Keizo Shimizu, the founder of NEPENTHES. The brand reflects the world view he cultivated through his extensive experience in international buying. His personal collection has garnered attention not only in Japan but across the globe. In 2010, the brand launched REBUILD by NEEDLES, a line that reconstructs vintage clothing into new pieces. Recently, the brand has expanded its presence through collaborations with world-renowned artists and participation in global festivals.
