The fabric is knitted using a bespoke machine by one of the top-tier knitters in Wakayama, a region renowned for circular knitting. The combination of the smooth texture of the extra-long staple cotton, the distinct stitch definition from the custom machine, and precise tension adjustment provides an exceptional wearing experience.

FilMelange, established in the spring of 2007, is a brand dedicated to the ultimate cut-and-sew garments. The name is derived from the French words for mixed-colored (Melange) yarn (Fil), referring to the heathered yarns traditionally used in T-shirts and sweatshirts. Using carefully selected natural materials, they create soft, light, and beautiful fabrics that are meticulously tailored by Japanese craftsmen. Every step, from the selection of raw cotton to the spinning, knitting, and sewing, is developed in-house with a commitment to Japanese manufacturing.
