INTERIM SILK NOIL DENIM BOURGERON FRENCH WORK TROUSER IT26S007AP

This piece is based on the Bourgeron pants used by the French military and as civilian workwear in the 1930s. We have added belt loops to the original design for modern town use, and the size can be adjusted with the cinch back. The characteristic inseam details, linen waistband lining, and pocket bags faithfully recreate the atmosphere of the era. It features side pockets, a coin pocket, double-welted back pockets, and custom iron buttons and buckles. The silhouette is a wide tapered fit that is clean around the waist while remaining roomy from the thighs to the hem.

The fabric is a middle-ounce silk denim. The warp is made of 100% American cotton uneven yarn dyed in deep pure indigo, while the weft uses silk nep yarn spun from recycled short fibers generated during the silk spinning process. This combination creates a natural texture and beautiful luster. The starch is removed during the finishing process, highlighting the inherent softness of the silk for a rich feel. One-wash finish.
