Inspired by tough American-made T-shirts, this hyper-big T-shirt features an extremely oversized body, shoulders, armholes, and cuffs. The length is set slightly shorter to balance the overall silhouette, while side slits and a stepped hem add movement. It is sewn in a domestic knitwear factory, featuring a blind stitch hem by skilled artisans and a durable octopus binder neck.
Due to the specialized processing, variations in color, unevenness, or slight nicks and holes may be present. Please understand these as characteristics of the product.
To recreate the dry texture of vintage American T-shirts, we used custom-made air-spun yarn to create a crisp, high-density fabric. The processing requires advanced technology and complex calculations, performed using rare equipment available at only a few factories in Japan. The colors are achieved through sulfur dyeing, powder bleaching, and sun-fading techniques.
