Aran Crafts Ireland produces traditional knitwear in Ireland. Established in County Kildare in eastern Ireland in 1957 by Molly Cullen, Molly is the granddaughter of the first female Irish artisan to start a knitwear business in 1856, proudly carrying on that tradition today. Aran Crafts has now grown into one of Ireland's largest knitwear manufacturers. As a traditional family-run company, it also operates as a factory for major brands due to its quality and high cost-performance.

From Aran Crafts comes a full-zip cardigan. The signature, carefully crafted Aran knit is tailored into a stand-collar full-zip cardigan. It can be worn like outerwear and offers convenient wearability. It features a low stand collar and patch pockets at the waist.

Traditionally knitted in the Aran Islands, these sweaters were knitted by families waiting for fishermen to return from sea, serving as protective talismans. The diverse knitting patterns were unique to each family, with each design carrying wishes for safety at sea and a big catch. This piece also incorporates familiar traditional patterns such as cable and honeycomb weaves.
