A heavy henley neck made entirely of ribbing, reminiscent of the 1990s American casual scene. For this project, we created two types of original ribs to achieve an overwhelming thickness and volume that stands on its own as outerwear. The form, which utilizes the unique drape of the fabric, has plenty of room in the body, shoulders, and sleeves, while tightening the neck width and cuffs to emphasize its rich volume. The placket is adorned with luxurious genuine buffalo buttons, adding a touch of class. We want you to roll up the sleeves roughly and wear it with the street mood of that time; it is a substantial piece with a meticulous focus on material and silhouette.
The needle-out rib was created originally. For Heather Gray, we knitted together gray and oatmeal yarns to bring out the unique border-like expression that highlights each color. For Speckle, we used a yarn that combines random-sized color neps, mainly in a retro-mood cream off-white.
