Type 719 Butterfly Pullover
Named after the butterfly effect, where a small change caused by the 'flapping of a butterfly's wings' brings about a large impact, the 'Butterfly' series began with the inquiry of what would happen if the side seams were removed from a TENDER Co. shirt.
The Butterfly Pullover is the first knitwear produced in the USA for TENDER Co. It is knitted using a full-fashioned method, with a link line running through the center of the front and back panels, and there are no side seams. The sleeves are linked in an upside-down state. All link lines are finished so that the ridges face outward. As a result, the inside remains smooth and flat, and the panel-like shape is designed to stand out even more.
The wool yarn used is spun in the UK and is highly twisted. By knitting it at an even higher tension, it is finished with a high density and a firm, resilient fabric feel.
