It's a festival of an incredible scale that attracts over 1 million people every year.
The area around andPheb is usually calm, but
on this day, it turns into a festive mood all at once.
I want to join in on that lively festival mood!
Since it's a special occasion, I'll go out wearing clothes that are a bit more pop than usual.
So, this time,
I put together an American casual style that I want to wear to the Koenji Awa Odori.
Incorporating a slightly pop graphic T-shirt, and going for a classic American casual style with a vest and painter pants.
It's the perfect style to enjoy the Koenji festival.

First, what catches the eye is the CORONA game vest.
The impressive red color is perfect for the festival atmosphere.
The classic CORONA game vest has plenty of pockets and excellent storage capacity.
There are many food stalls at the Awa Odori, so you want to move as lightly as possible!
It's very helpful to have both hands free without carrying a wallet, smartphone, or bag.
Also, when a T-shirt alone isn't enough, it's a point that you don't have to think too hard because just layering it over adds an accent.
When it gets a little cooler, I also recommend layering it over flannel shirts, sweatshirts, or sweaters.

I like a wider silhouette, so this time I chose size 5 (3L) and am wearing it with the waist cinched tight.
It's light-ounce nep denim, so it's easy to wear even in this season.
Even when combined with a simple T-shirt or vest, it gives an American casual vibe.
It's originally a silhouette with some room, but by sizing up, it gets even more volume.
I think painter pants have relatively free size selection, so I recommend choosing according to your preference: closer to just-fit if you want a clean look, or sizing up if you like it wide.

On my head is an 80s U.S. NAVY sailor hat.
By matching it with a white hat, I've added a bit of summer-like lightness to the whole look.
